Special Café Scientfique - Bloodhound Talk 'Time for a big change'
15th March 2016
Special Café Scientifique - 'Time for a big change', a talk by Sir Richard Noble of the Bloodhound SSC project.
Richard Noble's team see themselves as an extension of the generation that took aircraft design and manufacture from biplanes to jets in 6 years. The team has built a 1,000mph record car, which the MoD hopes will inspire the next generation of engineers. Having taken £25m and 160 man years to build, the car will run for the first time later this year. Come and hear the stories and thoughts behind this magnificent feat of engineering.
