Tuesday 15th February 2022 – Dr Rachel Ward, GP – General Practice in Covid Times”
Long gone are the days of crowded waiting rooms at your local GP Practice where an elderly person sat next to a child with a fever and a pregnant woman. Though services may appear different on the surface, our patients continue to have the same health needs that we must meet while overcoming the challenge of Covid. In addition to keeping services going over the last 21 months, we have vaccinated the UK in the most efficient vaccine programme ever seen. I look forward to shedding some light on what the last 21 months has been like working in primary care.
