A total of £847 has been raised through local Didcot pubs who took part in the inaugural Didcot Powerhouse Pub Quiz, by fielding quiz teams for the heats in May and onwards to the Grand Quiz Final.
On 5th June, Powerhouse Pub Quiz teams gathered at The Barn in Didcot to battle it out at the Quiz Final with The Bizzy Bees Cafe and Bistro team triumphing on the night!
Other teams that participated in the fun event were The Ladygrove Pub A & B teams, The Mulberry, The Wheatsheaf, and The Barn as well as the Powerhouse team who also joined in on the night. Guests at the event were treated to some super music by The Dukes (Didcot Ukele Band) who played the live music round and local Conservative MP David Johnston and Labour candidate Mocky Khan attended the event to cheer on the teams.
