Didcot First’s primary goal is to connect business and community in Greater Didcot. It does this by actively promoting the town, bridging needs gaps, fostering aspirations, and by engaging collaboratively with partner, using its influence to create positive change for local residents.

Didcot First is an independent, non-aligned organisation, committed to bring together Greater Didcot businesses, statutory bodies, voluntary agencies and the general public; creating a positive place to live, work, invest and grow.
Aims
The key aims of Didcot First are to:
- Facilitate and progress positive business and community development
- Celebrate science and innovation in the local area
- Act as a hub – bringing together in a collaborative manner, individuals from business and the community who are key stakeholders
- To promote Greater Didcot positively through facilitated partnerships and events
- Communicate and influence change in Greater Didcot and the wider region
