Funding Advice Session for SODC Everyone Active Grant

South Oxfordshire District Council has launched its Everyone Active Grant to help communities become more active. If you have questions or would like support with your application, the Community Enablement team is holding a funding advice session at Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot on Tuesday 6 June from 2pm. You can book a face to face meeting at this event by contacting grants@southandvale.gov.uk or by calling them on 01235 422405. Alternatively, if you’re unable to make this session, the team are also happy to answer any questions over the phone or arrange a Teams meeting with you.
Local organisations that work to support communities in Didcot and the district can apply for a maximum grant of £1,000 for projects that offer fun fitness and wellbeing opportunities from the £50,000 grant scheme. More information about the grant scheme can be found at southoxon.gov.uk/grants
The funding can be used in a variety of ways including buying new leisure or playground equipment, projects to introduce or improve physical activity, running training courses for volunteers or staff to help improve physical and mental wellbeing and setting up a community garden to share the physical and health benefits of growing fruit and vegetables
