David is Operations Director of Pryor’s Corporate Travel. Basil Pryor, David’s father, started a taxi company in 1958 and the business has evolved alongside Didcot itself. David is the sixth generation of his family (since 1830) to provide commercial services to the Didcot area. David has always been committed to ‘flying the flag’ for Didcot and is passionate about promoting it as a positive place to live, work, invest and grow.
Following a conversation with Ed Vaisey MP, in 2002, Ed suggested Didcot First be created. He nominated David as Chair, and from his extensive network of contacts, he has encouraged interest and involvement from within local business, services, education and charitable communities.
