Sue trained as an Accountant and spent her career in senior local Government roles in Scotland, London, and at Oxfordshire County Council (OCC). She retired from her last role as Director for Environment and Economy at OCC, in 2016. She helped to secure the Oxfordshire City Deal, which aims to maximize science facilities throughout the county.
Sue is a Non-Executive Director of the Civil Nuclear Police Authority (CNPA) and serves on the boards of the Church of England’s Oxford Diocese as well as the Didcot First Board.
